After an abstain long gap in film industry Joy Mathew turns to as a filmmaker firstly, earlier he was acted a prominent role of John Abraham's Film 'Amma Arriyan' and also did the Script of the Malayalam Film 'Samoohyapaadam'(1996). Joy Mathew again penned the script and Hari Nair wield the Camera for this film. Hari Nair, who was famed by the director Hariharan's film 'Ennu Swantham Jaanakikutty' and 'Mrityunjayam', a segment film of 'Kerala Cafe'. After a creditable Malayalam film 'Indian rupee', music director Shahabas Aman will compose the Soundtracks for 'Shutter'.
