' The Dolphins ' - Review

‘The Dolphins’,  is an usual pattern of Scripting of Actor Anoop Menon and  having nothing changes from his previous  flicks ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Trivandrum Lodge’.  The film is best to watch for some outrageous humours  and a little bit of entertainment.  It is directed by Diphan,  after his action genres ‘Puthiya Mugham’, ‘Hero’ and ‘The Gangs of Vadakkumnathan’  (a  short movie of ‘D Company’). Suresh Gopi  is playing the protagonist role and the  other casts are  Kalpana, Meghna Raj, Indrans, Nandu, Nishant Sagar, Jojo etc. The responses about the movie,  are Mixed.

Story
Surabalan aka ‘Panayamuttom Sur’a  (Suresh Gopi), an alcohol king who have a dozens of Bars in City. He is good- hearted but he hardly try to make a good acceptance in social life and he faces self problems. While some murders occur  in the city and become  unsolved. In Sura’s life enters a Girl named Mridula  and happens some unexpected moments.   The Murders and the Girl have any importance in Sura’s life?

Movie Outlook
  • The Film lacks an exact  script line and feels like something is happening , the scenes just follow.
  • Positives :   Some Entertaining  heroic moments  of  Suresh Gopi  and Valuable informations  about some Movie Classics by Anoop menon  (Thanking  you).
  • Negatives:  A love track  extends  until  the end ,  A quick - stop Climax and  the main elements feel like worthless  (eg. The Murder scene turns).

Acting
  • The One and Only Attraction is Suresh Gopi . It Only leading with his role ‘Panayamuttom Sura’, did fine act.
  • Kalpana’s role ‘Kochuvava’, made a good performance.
  • Nishant Sagar  did wonderful job
  • Anoop Menon did what he has done in his previous flicks.
  • Others  are Just OK.

Technicalities
  • Director Diphan tried his best  for an engaging  pace.
  • Script  nothing  offers new.
  • Jithu Damodar’s Shots  are fine,  Art Direction of Saloo.K .George, The Musics of M.Jayachandran  are major  bonus marks.
