' Ulsaaha Committee ' - Just For Laugh

'Ulsaaha Committee' is only for a fun entertainment, the movie from the team 'director Akku Akbar and  Actor Jayaram'. The other stars are Sheela, Baburaj, Kalabhavan Shajon, Isha Thalwar, Kochupreman etc. along with Jayaram. The movie released recently and garnered mixed results.

Story
Apoorvan (Jayaram), Babumon and Chopra (Baburaj) are thick friends living in a village named Mandarakaddavu. Apoorvan's ambition is to become a scientist and he invents certain machinery to help the villagers and his friends support him. Some unexpected incidents force them to leave their village and they are sheltered by a friend named Natholi (Suraj Venjaramoodu) in a Crorepathy Rose Mary's (Sheela) house. What happens in the rest ?

Movie outlook
  • It is Just a short storyline for jokes and mass elements. In the movie wallpapers have a tag line that 'come and watch for laugh' and it fully justified it.
  • First half is wrapped with a lot of funny Situations (that also includes viral 'prank bath video' and some other updates in social networking sites). Second half isn't strong, which lost the grips.

Acting
  • The role 'Apoorvan', is safe in Jayaram's hand. He utilised well the 'Palakkad' language with his comic gestures.
  • Kalabhavan Shajon and Baburaj, they made a 'completeness' to the team along with Jayaram.
  • Isha Talwar is just a 'Heroine'. She has nothing much to do.
  • Others are OK.

Technicalities
  • This is the first 'throughout' fun genre of Akku Akbar. Direction is OK.
  • There have no perfect plans in the script of Shaiju Anthikaad.
  • Anil Nair's cinematography is top-notch. The colourful visuals make our eyes cool.
  • Editing is just follows the screenplay.
  • Bijipal's friendship songs and Bg tunes are good

Grade:    Colourful Committee
Rating:   3 / 5

' Law Point ' - Review

Nothing impressive points in 'Law Point' and also it feels like a plot less movie. Director Lijin Jose is directed the film after his debut venture 'Friday' and it stars are Kunchako Boban, Namitha Pramod, Joy Mathew, Nedumudi Venu etc. The film is released this May and the opinions are mostly Mixed.

Story

Once a rich family approached him to save their son from a complaint filed by a girl named Maya (Namitha) for cheating her. Sathya tries to make compromise out of court. This leads to a change in his life and results in some unexpected moments.

Movie outlook
  • Story is just OK but it never follows on intentional routes and unnecessarily includes some indigestible twists.
  • First and Second Halves are on the same pace.

Acting
  • Kunchako Boban does good job as the first advocate role in his career.
  • Namitha Pramod, with her neat performance which sharing the same space with Kunchako Boban.
  • Others are OK.

Technicalities
  • Lijin Jose is just did in his skills further more nothing impressive.
  • Devadas's Script is fall flat
  • Neil D Cunha's visuals are neat
  • Mejo Joseph's soundtrack is good specially the song "Oru Mozhi Mindathe...'
  • Bg scores of Bijipal, isn't well in the mood.

'Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Hanikaram' - Review

'Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Hanikaram' worked out a fictional plot with an old experimental route. It is directed by Balaji Mohan and it stars, Dulqar Salman and Nazriya are handling the leading roles with other characters by Madhubala, Maniyan Pilla Raju, Dinesh, Chemban Vinod etc. The opinions are negative.

Story
A peculiar disease named as 'Dumb Flue' spread out in a Village. The Health department giving out an order that to prevent the disease the remedy is 'Stop talking' strictly. See how the villagers overcome the problem, Aravind (Dulqar Salman) is one of them.

Movie outlook
  • In the fictional sides, the storyline feels good in the interesting factor 'Dumb Flue'. And my opinion is 'it is a short subject which saturated and out stretched with a lot of unwanted parts.
  • I haven't seen, 'the news' telecasting only the 'same headlines' repeating in the scrolling panel every day.
  • The first Half is much better than the boring Second half which has only dumb actions.

Acting
  • Dulqar Salman's performance is in the safe side. He did neat job.
  • Maniyanpilla Raju makes some funny moments.
  • Others are just OK.

Technicalities
  • Balaji Mohan's attempt is OK but he couldn't take impressively.
  • The other sections:- camera, editing  and musics are mediocre

Grade:   Below - Average
Rating:  1.75 / 5

'1 by two' - '' Ho-Hum ''

'1 by two' makes the feel of intolerability and totally disappointment. I watched the film with the consideration of the team, director-actor; Arunkumar Aravind and Murali Gopy of good movies 'Ee Adutha Kaalathu' and 'Left Right Left'. It is released recently the responses are negative.

Story
Dr. Harinarayanan and Ravi (Murali Gopy) are identical twins and they are deeply attached together. One is dead in an accident and the other ones identity becomes confused. Yusuf marakkar (Fahad Fazil) tries to reveal the secrets.

Movie outlook
  • Storyline and sequences, more confusing and utterly lagging. It is in our prediction areas.
  • It doesn't entertain even its narrative style is very difficult and challenging.

Acting
  • There is only scopes of acting, in the hands of Murali Gopy. He did well.
  • Fahad Fazil is just come and goes in the sequences. Nothing more to handle the role.
  • Others are just OK.

Technicalities
  • Arunkumar Aravind's treatment isn't working well.
  • Jeyamohan's script is more complicated and very over layered. Some falls have affected.
  • Jomon Thomas is neatly worked through the apt shots.
  • Gopi Sundar has struggled much to entertain the viewers through his excellent BG scores

Grade:   Testing our patience
Rating:  1.5 / 5
