THE KING & THE COMMISSIONER - Review

It is the first time, viewers' clap procured characters Joseph Alex IAS and Bharath Chandran IPS are coming together in a new film 'The King & The Commissioner', directed by Shaji Kailas and Written by Ranji Panicker. But all the expectations are Shattered, the film is a resemblance of their previous films and response is 'Faint, Permanent and tedium'. The film produced by Anto Joseph and released on 23 March 2012.

Story
Joseph Alex IAS and BharathChandran IPS are working in New Delhi on deputation and they joins together to investigate the murder of scientists Sudarshan and Emma john. They reveals the real culprits behind the murder.

The Film First half sequences are a permanent pattern of Shaji Kailas and Ranji panicker. 'The King & The Commissioner' is the mixture of their 4 films 'Ekalavyan', 'Roudram', 'The King' and 'Commissioner'. And in the Second half subsumes the outflow of outdated and prejudiced scenes, which leads to a Bad climax

Mammootty and Sureshgopy play the roles of Joseph Alex IAS and BharathChandran IPS respectively and torrid, but their sequences are not much better because the roles recycle in a languid way. Especially their joint scenes are indigestible. The villain roles done by Saikumar, Jayan Cherthala, Devan etc. are time-consuming and other characters are clutter.

Shaji Kailas directs this film in his permanent making style, most of the scenes and shots are outdated and obnoxious. Ranji Panicker's story and screenplay recalls his previous films and lot of dialogues are screech and obscene. The Cinematography which is done by Sharavanan Dft. and Bharani.K.Dharan is turbulent and the unstructured Editing is done by Samjith MHD. Rajamani composed the BG Music is the incursion of ineffective.

Overall, 'The King & The Commissioner'  is top-up with slapdash and topsy-turvy.

Grade:  'The King & The Commissioner' is Hullabaloo and Killjoy film.
Rating:   3.5/10

ORDINARY - Review

Hai viewers,

The Malayalam film 'Ordinary' released today(17 March 2012), Story & directed by debutant Sugeeth, starring Kunchako Boban, Biju Menon, Asif Ali, Ann Augustine, Shritha in the lead. 'As a debut film by Sugeeth is a Good attempt but the story is a resemblance and repetition of certain viewed Malayalam films'. 'Ordinary' review garnered mixed responses 'Good & Average' and the film is produced by N.Sudish & Rajeev Nair.

Story
Iravikuttan Pillai( Kunchako Boban) & Sukumaran(Biju Menon), they are working as Conductor & Driver in a KSRTC Ordinary bus, which services 'Pathanamthitta-Gavi'. Their life is going well with the relationship between the villagers, but an unexpected event which turned the life of Iravi & Suku to a mysterious fact.

'Ordinary' first half is good and enjoyable scenes and the Second half includes the plot of the film which depicts an outdated and repetition of other movie sequences, which lead to a Boring Climax even though the title move off, first half  and end credit is nice.

Kunchako Boban's and Biju Menon's performance is the main attraction of 'Ordinary', their scene chemistry is superb and absorbing, specially the film first half scene included characters made an accolade performance eg. actors Baburaj, Salimkumar, Dharmajan and Niyas is good and applaud. Other Crucial characters done by Asif Ali, Jishnu, Lalu Alex while Shritha and Ann Augustine plays the heroine roles, not much quotable. According to Asif ali, the role is different but his performance is crummy and overact. Totally 'Ordinary' 's pace get on by Kunchako Boban and Biju Menon.

Director Sugeeth's debut attempt is good but he inscribed the story of this film is formerly utilized experiment . The film's Screenplay & Dialogues written by Nishad.K.Koya & Manu Prasad, as aforementioned, First half scenes & Dialogues is amusing but reversely second half lagged by languorous and predictable scenes. The film's Positive factors that Cinematography, Editing and Music handled by Faisal Ali, V.Sajan and Vidyasagar respectively. Faisal Ali garnished with Dazzle visuals and V.Sajan trimmed the sequences very well. Vidyasagar's Soundtrack is nice, especially the songs 'Enthinee Mizhi..', 'Sun Sun Sundari..' and end credit song 'Chenthamara..'

Overall,  'Ordinary' has positive and negative factors

Grade:   'Ordinary' is an Ordinary Stone Washed Story
Rating:    6/10

SHIKARI - Review

Several films are based on pre-independence era those were acclaimed by creditable reasons, but some films not create much impact on viewers- 'Shikari' is also categorized this genre, directed by Abhaya Simha, features Mammootty and Poonam Bajwa play the pivot roles. Shikari is an interpret film released on 09 Mar.2012 in Kannada and Malayalam, that received  Average responses. 'Shikari' is produced by K.Manju.

Story
Abhilash(Mammootty) a software engineer who begins to read a manuscript of novel named 'Shikari', which is set in the pre - independence era  and falls in love with the characters of novel 'Karunan and Renuka', . But the novel is unfinished and Abhilash began to seek the rest of the novel's copy, it causes the chance to reveal the secrets behind the novel.

Shikari's story is superb, the first half includes few good sequences it keeps the curiosity, but the second half goes out the story's intention because it leads an adrift route.Especially the Shikari's Climax and some of the sequences are not focused the movie's target point.

Shikari's main characters done by Mammootty and Poonam Bajwa. Both of them played dual roles and made an accolade performance. Mammootty plays the role 'Abhilash' and 'Karunan' felicitously. The roles 'Nandita' and 'Renuka' done by Poonam Bajwa who smartly handled the respective characters. Other Crucial Characters performed by Innocent, Suresh Krishna, Tini Tom, Aditya, Mohan are good in their parts. If it is Clearly said that 'Shikari' is a Mammootty - Poonam Bajwa movie because story and all sequences are revolve around these characters.

'Shikari' is a good venture from the director Abhaya Simha and also he inscribed the Story and Screenplay. As aforementioned, Story is superb but reversely the Screenplay is not much better. Mainly 'Shikari' is a Pre-Independence era film but it is directed in a Silly way eg.: 'Karunan is a freedom fighter whose rivals against the British Army' Scenes are abortive and shatters the pace of  viewers and the movie contains undeserved points to enrich the curiosity. The movie contains good technical sides; Cinematography, Editing done by Dr.Vikram Shrivastava and S.Manohar consecutively, but others are not much quotable.

Totally 'Shikari' has well meant Story that depicts as an unaffected Screenplay

Grade:  'Shikari' is not much impact on viewers.

Rating:  4/10   For Story and Performance of Mammootty & Poonam Bajwa

TATHSAMAYAM ORU PENKUTTY - Review

Certain films which are done for the progress of the society became failure, unfortunately the film 'Tathsamayam Oru Penkutty' is listed in this category, directed by T.K.Rajeev Kumar. Nithya Menon, Unni Mukundan, Swetha Menon, Baburaj, Sidique, Maniyan Pilla Raju features the lead. The film was released on 02 Mar.2012, garnered poor response and the review that 'Tathsamayam Oru Penkutty' is light-hearted and Crummy rate'. The film is produced by Reel 2 Reel Cine Productions Pvt.Ltd.

Story
Manjula Ayappan(Nithya Menon), who is an upland girl and the first competitor of a Live Reality Show named 'Tathsamayam Oru Penkutty', a special program features the daily life of auditioned girls and broadcasted by a Channel Company titled 'Real TV' intents to cure the social problems.

The film contains an strange story, First half and Second Half covered by amorphous sequences that depicts as an irrational and antithesis route. Subsequently most of the sequences and shots are stultify because it included out dated and substandard humour situations

Nithya Menon plays the title role 'Manjula Ayappan', constitutes over acting because in lot of sequences her performance is unimpressive. Other vital roles done by Unni Mukundan, Baburaj, Sidique, Maniyan Pilla Raju and other meaty roles are schmaltz. Differently from these roles, Swetha menon and Suraj venjaramoodu are good in their scenes and Whole characters are coordinates in unexpected & killjoy situations

T.K.Rajeevkumar's making style is incompatible & unsuccessful, he did mistakes in lot of the sequences. Sunny Joseph and Manuel George have inscribed the script which garbled with undeserved scenes and dialogues in a skew route, but the story has intention. Cinematography and Editing sections are not quotable, done by Vinod Illampally and B.Ajithkumar. Even though The scenes have inapt BG Scores which is pesky like a drama, the music is good. Whole in the technical side of this film are underdone.
Totally, 'Tathsamayam Oru Penkutty' is misshapen and plan less

Grade:  'Tathsamayam Oru Penkutty' is an absurd and disaster, Don't put your head on this kind of movie.

THE WOMAN IN BLACK - Review

'The Women In Black', directed by James Watkins and the lead roles enacted by Danniel Radcliffe, Ciaran Hinds, Janet Mcteer, Sophie Stuckey, Jassica Raine and Liz White. The film is recently released and received with commonly good response that 'an Horror film must startle our mind, accordingly 'The Women In Black' has Highly frightful Horror'. The film is produced by Hammer Film productions and distributed by Momentum Pictures & CBS Films.

Story

A widowed lawyer named Arthur Kipps(Daniel Radcliffe) who is assigned to handle the Island Estate known as Eal Marsh house which located in a remote village  facing the deceased eccentric because the Eal Marsh house is haunted by the Women's Ghost and keeping a deadly secret. Kipps tries to unveil the horrendous secret, what is the reason the vengeful ghost is terrorizing the village?

Basically the film's story and title is adapted from Susan Hill's novel, each sequences and shots has been done excellently that increases the fathom of fear and Whole sequences are goes on the awestruck situations. Specially the film has an excellent ending that the shot is the Woman in Black stares the straight then turns her eyes gazes towards the viewers.

Our 'Harry potter' Daniel Radcliffe presents a compliment performance, his eyes keeps the pursuance of suspense while charming. The title role 'Ghost of Women in Black' done by Liz White included sequences is superb at-once awe-inspiring. Other characters are good done by Ciaran Hinds, Janet Mcteer, Sophie Stuckey, Jassica Raine respectively.

Horror specialist film maker James Watkins directs this film deftly, but little bit sequences are imaginative and deliberate to create the horror mood on viewers, besides some sequences are accustomed. The Screen play  by Jane Goldman has fairly inscribes nice scenes and the film has full of curious portions  eg. Arthur kipps paranormal experiences in the remote village. And the scenes of Arthur kipps feels the haunt by Ghost of women at Eal Marsh house fills up with unexpected horror's struck are superb. The film's strong holds are Cinematography, Editing, BG Scores and other technical departments are applauding factors. Tim Maurice Jones's Cinematography helps in all scenes and its colour tone becomes an incubus in viewers mind. Apart from Jon Haris has trimmed the scenes accurately and 'The Hurt Locker' Music Director Marco Beltrami did the good scores for this film.
Totally, 'The Women In Black' has keeps the soul in the story as well as output.

Grade:    Hold Your seats then Gaze at the Screens.
