'Bhoopadathil Illatha oridam' an adopted film from the famous short story ' Deshathinte Vijayam' of Sethu, directed by Joe Challiseri and produced by David Kachapilly. The film's prominent roles are performed by Sreenivasan, Nivin Pauly, Rajasree Nair and Iniya along with Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar etc.

The film is Joe Challiseri's first directorial project and produced by David Kachapilly who had done commendable films Ormakkayi, Idavela, Ishtam, Nammal etc. 'Bhoopadathil Illatha oridam' has a significant story which packed with graceful moments and the film has two hero and heroines. Actor Nivin Pauly & Actress Iniya are handling the key roles of this film. Actors Nedumudi Venu and Innocent are permanent part of the films of David Kachapilly's production. Specially the Soundtracks composed by Mohan Sithara who again unite with David Kachapilly after the films Ishtam and Nammal.
