'Drishyam' - Phenomenal Magic

'Drishyam' becomes as a phenomenal movie within 2.40 hrs.of its screening and you wont take your eyes from beginning to last scene. It is another awesome venture from the director Jeethu Joseph after the film 'Memories'. Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba and Esther playing the prominent roles in this film. Drishyam released yesterday (19/12/2013) and it garnered Positive opinions

Story
Georgekutty (Mohanlal) a local cable network owner and he is an ardent lover of movies. He happily lives with his wife Rani (Meena) and their two children (Ansiba and Esther). While they are living comfortably, an ill-mannered boy, Varun (Roshan) enter in the course of their life. See what happens then ?

Movie Outlook
  • I haven't seen such a Story ever before and its 'Unique' sequences which create an intense mood of tension.
  • In the first half ; the moments of 40 min. are usual and the resting sequences of 2 hr. creates curiosities and you will hold your seats by the striking visuals.
  • Nothing more to say, watch the experience.

Acting
  • Mohanlal performed splendidly as his role 'Georgekutty'. He again kept the title 'the Complete actor'
  • Meena as the 'wife's role of Mohanlal's character and the 'children roles' of Ansiba and Esther are appreciable.
  • Kalabhavan Shajon is good in his first negative role as 'Sahadevan'.
  • Others Asha Sharath, Sidique, Roshan, Irshad, Kozhikode Narayanan Nair etc. are good and apt.

Technicality

  • Director Jeethu Joseph marked another milestone in his career and also in this year 2013 after 'Memories'. His writing skill is remarkable because the suspense isn't predictable . He opening the experiment of 'Sound Scripting' in Drishyam as favourably.
  • Sujith Vasudev's visuals are noticeable and it neatly trimmed by Ayoob Khan's edit as well.
  • Anil Johnson's Bg scores is sync with the required standard of 'Drishyam'.
