Director Anwar Rasheed, who is the well known director of 'Rajamaanikyam', 'Chotta Mumbai', and 'Bridge', after a gap of about two years re-enters with his new film 'Usthad Hotel'. The film will have a mighty script by Anjali menon, starring Thilakan, Dulqar Salman, Maniyan Pilla Raju, Sidiq, Bhagath, Nithya menon, Lena etc. 'Usthad Hotel' from the production of Magic Frames of Listin Stephen.

'Usthad Hotel' has a lot of remarkable traits that the film's story features a sound relationship between Grandfather and his Grandson, these roles portrayed by Thilakan and Dulqar Salman respectively. The film is Anwar's 5th venture, previous films were well received positive reviews. The script penned by Anjali menon, the director of acclaimed films 'Happy Journey' (a short film of an anthology film Kerala Cafe), 'Manjadikkurru (Lucky Red Seed)' and this is Dulqar's second film, after a liveliness performance in his first commendable film 'Second Show'. Nithya Menon will be performing as a heroine role of Dulqar.
Listin Stephen produced this film under his own banner 'Magic Frames' which was noted by the movies 'Traffic' and 'Chaapa Kurish'. The shoot was completed in different locations at Kozhikode, Ernakulam, Madhura, Rajasthan and Dubai.
