One of the most talented filmmaker, Ranjith again succeeded by his formulaic style in the film titled 'Spirit' released today (14/06/2012). The film has an ensemble cast including Thilakan, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Kaniha, Lena, Kalpana, Nandu etc. along with the 'complete actor' Mohanlal. 'Spirit' produced by Ashirvad Cinemas, garnered generally positive opinions from playhouses.

Story
Raghunandan (Mohanlal) is an alcoholic, having different stages by his job, now he take up the journalism and he working as a comperer of the famous programme 'Show the Spirit'. In his life some special characters enter and it causes several changes which brings a meaningful life.

'Spirit' -  Excellent Story, subsumes with genuine Humour and emotional incidents. And the message of film has mentioned a great virtue in each sequences. Specially, the Climax and end credits touchy and superb.

'The Complete Actor' Mohanlal delivers his stunning performance by his role 'Raghunandan' and he shows the character's nuances. Having the attractive power Mohanlal absorbed the eye and mind of the viewers in his sequences. While Thilakan, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Kaniha, Lena, Kalpana, Nandu etc.gave their brilliant performances. One of the advantages of the film is all the characters, even a mild role will retain in the mind of the spectators

Director Ranjith does a credible venture in his script and Direction and Undoubtedly, each sequence has the movie's message which is significant. He thoroughly wins his creativity by his lively dialogues. 'Spirit' has strong technical fields -elegant and gratifying visuals are taken by Venu and the Editing of Sandeep Nandakumar is well meant. And the other technical sides are first rate, except an unimpressive soundtracks composed by Shahabas aman.
Totally, 'Spirit' shows the vigorous moral message.

Grade:  'Spirit' is excellent.
Rating:  4/5
