'Thuppakki' - Review

Gear up all Vijay Fans, a 'Diwali' Gift for u is 'Thuppakki'; the film which released today (13/11/2012) and received mostly fair opinions from the viewers. The film directed by A.R.Murugadoss and produced by V Creations. Kajal Agarwal, Vidyut Jamwal, Sathyan are leading with the protagonist role of Vijay and Jayaram is also doing a cameo role in this film.

Story
Jagdish (Vijay) is an Army man who comes on leave to his settled town Mumbai. Accidentally he faces a terrorist attack and he catches a terrorist from that place. Then he took it as a mission against terrorist and this becomes turning point of his life. See what happens in the rest?

'Thuppakki'- As a main story, it's fully loaded with action. So the film has app laudable thrilling sequences and specially it's a brain game of Hero and Villain. The film always keep the same pace in First and Second halves. But the romance scenes and songs are gewgaw. The End is so nice.

Thuppakki is an another showy from Vijay and he soup-up again his stardom through his role 'Jagdish'. Kajal Agarwal were added for just a casual Heroine for Vijay's Character and Sathyan handling an important role and he makes a little laughable dialogues. Vidyut jamwal is an apt & strong villain for Vijay. Jayaram as a cameo role in this film and he has good scenes while sometimes he is overdoing.

Except the romance scenes, Murugadoss's scripting and direction has good pattern and he brings forward the stardom of Vijay in action and thrilling sequences. specially in the 15min. of before the interval & Vijay's intelligence and dealing against villains. Santhosh Sivan's Visuals are classy and the Editing of Sreekar Prasad is well timed and Kecha thrill movements are superb. Harris Jayaraj just pours the old wine in his musics and Bg scores. specially in a main Bg score resembles the title track of 'Kakha Kakha...' (eg: In the title start)
Overall, 'Thuppakki' is a good treat for this Diwali
