'My Boss' - Review

'My Boss' is out-and-out fun entertainer in its first half, but it lost the pace before some scenes of Climax and tailpiece. The film from the writer cum director Jeethu Joseph and the production is by 'East Coast'. Dileep and Mamtha Mohandas as the leading roles amongst other characters by Saikumar, Kalabhavan Shajon, Seetha, Valsala Menon, Master Jeevan and Mukesh appearing as a cameo of this film. My Boss released today (10/11/2012) and responses are generally mixed with positive.

Story
Manu Varma (Dileep), a village man whose aim is to work abroad and he goes outside to work as an assistant under a strict boss Priya Nambiar (Mamtha Mohandas), an Australian citizen. Priya faced a dangerous situation that she has an expired visa problem. To escape from that problem Manu pretended as her future bridegroom. See what happens then?

'MY BOSS' creates a lot of humour situations when the film's good starting with lovable song 'Suryane Kai Thodaam...' to the 'interval' scenes. Surely it does make you entertain and laugh. The film misses the pace in the related scenes of Climax and End which is abrupt. The film's plot almost similar to Anne Fletcher's 'The Proposal'(2009)

Though Dileep's fun style is usual, he is aplomb and rocking in humour scenes. Mamtha Mohandas does an adorable job in her role 'Priya Nambiar'. Kalabhavan Shajon established a place in Malayalam Film Industry through in this film's performance because his character is superb!. Other roles of Saikumar, Seetha, Valsala Menon, Master Jeevan are good in their parts.

Mainly, 'My Boss' is technically superb & flamboyant in its Cinematography by Anil Nair, Editing of V.Saajan, Musics of Sejo John and Re-Recording by Gopi Sundar. Wheter Jeethu Joseph took the plot of 'The Proposal' it has some changes. His direction is superb in First and a little bit scenes in Second Half, but he slipped up in scripting of its Climax, its adrift related Scenes.

Grade:   'The Proposal' Boss
Rating:   3.5/5
