'Thaandavam' - Review

'Thaandavam' is an action thriller from the team of Director Vijay and Actor Vikram, after a drama film 'Deivathirumagal'. In this film, Anushka, Amy Jackson, Jagapathy Babu, Nassar, Santhanam did the crucial characters along with Vikram and it released today (28/09/2012). 'UTV Motion Pictures produced this film and the opinions are mostly mixed.

Story
Kenny (Vikram), a blind man and a piano artist in a London church. Sara Vinayakam (Amy Jackson) falls in love with Kenny but Kenny has a mysterious past and he has to take revenge upon a person who destroyed his life.

'Thaandavam' story goes on to predictable route, First and Second halve sequences lacks the thrills because it moves in slowly, but the flashback scenes are attractive; which deals with Anushka-Vikram relation track.

Vikram has done full justice to his character 'Sivakumar' and his performance is desirable. However, Jagapathy Babu's character who having a predictable suspense, his performance is fine. Actress Anushka is apt for the role 'Meenakshi' and her performance will retain in mind of the viewers. Others Amy Jackson, Santhanam, Nassar and Lakshmi rai are fair.

Director Vijay's making style is so fall short of and the screenplay have nothing specials. In spite of the action scenes is poor, it differs from other thrillers that's what a main part included in this film is 'Human Echolocation' technique. Nirav Shah's visualisation is almost same from his previous Tamil films like 'Billa(2007)', 'Madrasipattanam' and it doesn't offers remarks. Anthony's cuts just follows the script and G.V Prakash has done simple Bg scores and Soundtracks.
Altogether, don't much expect from 'Thaandavam'
