Mammooty makes his debut in Sandalwood through this film and both Mammooty and Poonam Bajwa will play dual roles. 'Shikari' is Abhay Simha's Second Venture, his debut film 'Gubbachigalu' was achieved the 'Best Children's Film' in 56th National film Awards. The movie's focal point is the story referred the pre-independence era, So Mammootty has a lot of expectation in this project. 'Shikari' is the third film of Poonam Bajwa in Mollywood and she plays as Heroine of Mammootty and Actress Sharmila Mandre is also roped to enact the Heroine.
