Director Ranjith again joins together with actor Mammootty and he pens a special character for Megastar like his previous milestone movie 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint'. This time Mammootty has to do the role of Maathukutty in 'Kadal Kadannoru Maathukutty'. The viewers are much eager to watch the film and it is set to hit the screens in the festive day 'Ramzan', today 08/08/2013.
'Kadal Kadannoru Maathukutty' is a multi star film in which debut heroine Aleesha Mohammad, Meera Nandan, Balachandra Menon, Nedumudi Venu, Sidique, Harisree Ashokan etc. handling the main characters. Moreover another speciality is Superstar Mohanlal and actor Dileep are doing as cameo appearances as their selves. The banner 'August Cinema' of Cinematographer Santhosh Sivan, Young actor Prithviraj and Shaji Natesan:- producing this film after their previous film with Ranjith 'Indian Rupee'. Madhu Neelakantan has done the camera and Sandeep Nandakumar is working as the editor. Rafeeq ahmed pens the lyrics and Shahabas Aman composing the tunes of 'Kadal Kadannoru Maathukutty'.
Kadal Kadannoru Maathukutty's shoot is completed majorly in Kerala and Germany.
