'Chennai Express' - Review


'Chennai Express', a totally energetic and a paisa vasool and It will hold the mood of entertainment until the last of the movie. It is directed by Rohit Shetty; Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone featuring the main roles with other cast. Chennai Express released 08/08/2013 and it journeying to the 'Superhit station' by viewers positive feed backs.

Story
Rahul (SRK), a bachelor who travels to Rameswaram to immerse the ashes of his grandfather to fulfil his will. In his journey he meets a woman named Meenalochini aka Meenama (Deepika Padukone) from a gunda family in South. Some unexpected circumstances turns to joint them and Rahul reaches Meenama's home land.      

Movie Outlook

  • 'CE' s story moves similar track like Tamil and Telugu commercial movies.
  • It fast-paced and fun-packed treatment fully engaging u up to the last scene.
  • CE's first and second half keeps solid pace.

Acting

  • Our King Khan is performed very well. His accurate comic&romantic numbers are on-top. Mainly 'CE' is mostly used SRK's heroism into some fun moments. 
  • Deepika Padukone sharing the same space with SRK and she is elegant as South Indiana.
  • Nikitin Dheer and Satyaraj, are just villains.  
  • Coming to acting, its totally 'SRK and Deepika' shows-off.

Technicality

  • To the Direction, no other words to say, Rohit Shetty keep up the dynamic way and he also designed apt action sequences (while its are inspired some Tamil movie Ghilli, Alex pandian and Naan Mahan Allai)
  • Visually, 'CE' is a 'picturesque' view, shots taken by Dudley.
  • Steven.H.Bernard's editing is brilliant.
  • Musics and Bg scores are keep time.
  • Cg and Vfx are very well.
