NAMMUKKU PARKAAN - Review

Remembering old time Family Hit Films and its distinctive titles, the film 'Nammukku Parkaan' released recently without any hue&cry. It is directed by Aji John and Screenplay by the debut team Jayan-Sunoj. It gained as an 'Average' position due to the mixed responses from viewers.

Story
Rajeevan (Anoop Menon), a veterinary surgeon and a simple family man who having wife Renuka (Meghna Raj) and two daughters. His ambition is to own an ideal house, but he has no ample source of income which leads him for bribery. It is the main plot.

Nammukku Parkaan having an intended Story, First and Second halves including emotive and overstating situations. Most predictable Sequences which leading into a usual Climax. The film's good speciality is its 'tailpiece' has nice backing that a happy ending dialogue from actor Mohanlal's vocal appearance.

There is nothing Special performances in the film from castings include Anoop Menon, Meghna Raj, Tini Tom, Ashokan etc. Yet Actor Nandhu acquires a mild role, it is excellent. Jayasurya done a passing cameo role as a police officer, is inactive.

Director Aji John improves his directorial ability and he delicately handles each sequences. But the film lacks of an accomplished Screenplay by Jayan-Sunoj, because both sequences and characters are habitual. And the film spill over in exaggerated emotional scenes and dialogues. In technicalities - S.B.Prijith's Visuals and Editing of Samjith MHD is congruent factors and Ratheesh Vega's musical compositions remaining without essential changes. Specially, the Song ''Kanmani Ninne njan...'' likeness to the Song ''Melle melle mukhapadam...'' from the Movie 'Oru Minnaminnuginte Nurrunguvattam' (music by Johnson).
Albeit the title - 'Nammuku Parkaan' is an impressive but it doesn't keep an exceptional one because it leads in a predictable manner.

Grade:  'Nammuku Parkaan' is Simple & Average
Rating:  2.15/5
