' Picket 43 ' - Nothing Line Of Controls in this Friendship

There have nothing line of controls between these Patriots. 'Picket 43' deserves a Big Salute. It's a nice film directed by Major Ravi and which has the main characters by Prithviraj and Javed Jeffrey, are handling the Soldiers roles who guarding the INDO - PAK border known as 'Picket 43'. The opinions about the film are Good.

Story
Hareendran Nair ( Prithviraj ), an Indian Soldier who is  home-sick and trying to get leave from the Force. Unexpectedly  he is posted in a cautious area at the India-Pakistan border, known as 'Picket 43'.  He has nothing to accompany him except an efficient Military dog named Bacardi to the Border. He became friends with a good-hearted Pakistan Soldier named Mushraf ( Javed Jeffrey ) who has been posted at the other side.

Movie outlook
  • The storyline is short but describes well with a non-linear pattern.
  • Climax scene is  heart - felt.
  • Drawbacks: a  cliched family scenes of Hareendran,  could have been better.

Acting
  • Prithviraj and Javed Jeffrey have equal importance. Javed Jeffrey made a good entry.
  • Bacardi, the dog character is fondly favourite.
  • Other actors are handling a good job in their scenes.

Technicalities
  • Major Ravi treated well the screenplay with a neat direction.
  • Visuals of Jomon.T.John,Musics & BG are remarkable.

Grade:   A Big Salute
Rating:  4  / 5
