'ABCD' - Review

'ABCD' is confusing movie not only in its scripting but also in making. It lacks the planning of the treatment and not digestible. Martin prakkat directed this film and the script is written by writers Suraj - Neeraj, Naveen Bhaskar, Bipin Chandran and the director. Dulqar Salman and Jacob Gregory are handling the title roles along with other roles of Lalu Alex, Vijayaragahavan, Aparna Gopinath, Sreekumar etc. ABCD released on 14/06/2013 and the responses are mostly average.

Story
John (Dulqar Salman) and Kora (Jacob Gregory) are American malayalees, live in luxurious life. Because of their antics they are packed to their motherland in Kerala with the good aim of Johns' dad. Their life become more crisis in Kerala and they struggle to go back to US.

ABCD lacks the perfect structure of storyline and the scenes pattern doesn't follows the central idea of the movie. It just tried to workout for comedies, but it doesn't on the cards. The film's climax rather abruptly and on an adrift way of narration. The only +ve factor is that just a little bit scenes makes u laugh.

ABCD has led in one and only advantage that by the actors Dulqar Salman and Jacob Gregory. Their performance are stylish and suave and their 'on-screen chemistry' is came out well. The other actors have nothing  to do.

Martin Prakkat's direction and the team's script didn't take in that what means it. If the film is carefully planned, it would become a superb entertainer. But unfortunately it didn't work well. ABCD is visually color full because of the frames of Jomon.T.John, Cg works, Makeup and Costumes. Donmax's editing could have been better and Gopi sundar worked hard to make an entertainer by his Bg scores.

Grade:   American Born in Confusing Film
