'Amen' is a musical romantic thriller which is the third film of Lijo Jose Pellisery and it has a multi castings including Indrajith, Fahad Fasil, Kalabhavan Mani, Magaranth Desh Pande, Swathy Reddy etc. The film is under the production banner of White Sands Media House by Fareed Khan.

Amen's story follows in a village named Kumarangari during in the time of 80's and its script is penned by P.S.Rafeeq whose second film with Lijo, after his first film 'Nayakan'. In this film, Lijo Jose is trying to bring out a various genre from his styles of his previous films 'Nayakan' and 'City of God' were different action thrillers. The director's favorite actor Indrajith is also included in this film and he plays as a priest role 'Vincent Vattoli'. Swathy Reddy playing the heroine role in Amen which is the first film of her in Malayalam and she pairs opposite with Fahad Fasil's character. The Bollywood-Marathi actor Magarand Deshpande also included in this for playing a various character.
In technicalities - Abhinand Ramanujam has wielded the camera and Manoj doing the edit department of this film. The director's previous films' tunes were composed by Prasanth Pillai and he again working with him. Amen completely shot at Aalapuzha and it will be released on 22 March 2013.
