OUTSIDER - Review

Premlal, a noted director in his first film 'Aatmakadha' was well in critically and he again comes with Sreenivasan in 'Outsider' which released on 30 March 2012. 'Outsider' is a Suspense- thriller film laced with Family Drama Background and with eminent cast Pasupathy, Indrajith, Saikumar and Ganga Babu in the lead roles. But the film received with Negative reviews and response is 'Outsider failed due to Deconstruction and Boring Style'

Story
Sivankutty(Sreenivasan) a boat driver who lives with his motherless daughter Manju (Gangababu) comfortably. During his life, Sivan realizes that Manju falls in love with local yob Mukundan (Indrajith). Sivan had an ill experience in his past life by a stranger named Lawrence and he again unexpectedly enters Sivan's life and struggles him.

'Outsider' contains too thin plot, the First half is Crisp and Slow which extends the duration of the film and Second half is Sluggish and Boring. The Draw back of 'Outsider' eke with significant sequences repeatedly and the film has short film content.

'Outsider' casting are succinct and the movie rollicking in the Characters of Sreenivasan, Pasupathy, Indrajith, Saikumar and Ganga Babu. Sreenivasan, Indrajith, Saikumar and Ganga Babu are neatly performed whereas Paspathy's performance is worst and overacting.

Director Premlal makes this film like a slow - narrative style of some Hollywood movies, despite his attempt was a failure and he has also handled the script coldly. The film has plenteous good Visuals taken by Sameer haq. 'Outsider's Bg Musiq is incorrigible while music is quite good done by debut Sangeeth.
Overall, 'Outsider' integrates with repeating scenes of its Short film plot.

Grade:  'Outsider' is Sluggish and Boring
Rating:   1/5
