Mohanlal, Mukesh, Bhavana, Lakshmi rai,I nnocent, Mammukoya, Shakthi Kapoor, Suraj venjarramoodu etc.are performing lead roles in this movie. After a gap of seven years priyadarshan teaming up with Super star Mohanlal in this film. His last film in malayalam was ‘Vettom’(2004) starred by malayalam film star Dileep.

The famous film director James cameron visited in this movie shooting spot and chat with priyadarshan, Mohanlal and crew. Lakshmi rai, Bhavana and Suraj venjarramoodu are first time working with Director Priyadarshan in this film. Another speciality is ‘ATV chase fight scene in Desert’  created in this film.

The film first titled as ‘Arabeem Ottakom P Madhavan Nayarum’ but  arising controversay  director added-’ In Marubhoomikatha’  to previous title ( Arabeem Ottakom P Madhavan Nayarum In Oru Marubhoomikatha  ).

The movie contains 4 songs  but one song ‘Madhavettanennum…’ is  direct copy of  Amr Diab's  Rohy Mertahlak
