Unnam is an upcoming 'Suspense thriller', directed by Sibi Malayil and the film includes Sreenivasan, Lal, Aasif ali, Prasanth Narayan, Swetha menon and Rima Kallingal in the lead. The film's screenplay inscribed by Swathi Bhaskar and the cinematography has been done by Ajayan Vincent. 'Unnam' will hit the screens on the First week of Feb.2012 and the film is produced by Basheer & Noushad under the banner 'Kuniyil Films'.
Director Sibi Malayil, a prominent filmmaker who has finely chiseled films like Kireedam, Dasaratham, Doore Doore oru Koodu Koottam, Ishtam again teams up with Asif Ali even though his recent releases with the actor ('Apoorvaragam', 'Violin') 'Violin' were disastrous at the Box office. Ajayan Vincent has wielded the cinematography for this film, after sibi's 'Apoorvaragam'. 'Unnam' is a multi starrer with Bollywood Actor Prasanth Narayan (famed Villain of the film Murder 2) performing a crucial role in this film and famous singer Chitra iyer has been roped in too. Other cast includes Nedumudi Venu, K.P.A.C.Lalitha, debutant actor Nanushi. In the Musical section, Lyrics is penned by Rafeeq Ahmed and Soundtrack is composed by John.P.Varkey ( Telugu film 'IdiSangathi', Bollywood film 'Frozen' fame).
