Do you wish a headway change in Malayalam film industry? if so go to theatre and watch the film 'Second Show', a companionship of debutant crew, directed by Srinath Rajendran. Dulqar Salman, Sunny, Baburaj, Sudesh berry doing the lead performance. Second show released on 3 Feb2012 and received mostly positive reviews and the response is 'Good and Innovative experience' and the film is produced by AOPL Entertainments Pvt.Ltd.
Story
'Harilal' aka 'Lalu' and 'Nelson Mandela' aka 'Kurudi' are jobless and uneducated rogues and they doing illegal activities and sustain their life for a job. Chaaver Vaavachan, a financial usurer gives them a job as a bully and unexpectedly Lalu and Kurudi works for Vishnubudhan, a drug lord and that later changes their lives. The film features what happens in their life later.
First half filled with a lot of Genuine Humour dialogues and good sequences and second half contains a bit lagging but later the movie catch up the pace and energy. Specially a Spectacular Climax and End, the viewers will be clap for the movie because it is an Excellent part, Sure!
Dulqar Salman plays the role of Harilal aka 'Lalu', smartly done and he expresses each shot of his acting calibre in style with excellent voice. With the film 'Second show', Dulqar Salman the son of Megastar Mammootty, has obtained a grand entry in to the film field and he could be an excellent assurance to the Malayalam film industry. Along with Dulqar, Sunny wayne a salient factor in this film plays 'Nelson Mandela' aka 'Kurudi', has incomparably done the role specially his pariance and wit. Other supporting cast are appreciable, Baburaj plays the memorable dual roles, 'Chaaver Anthony' and 'Chaaver Vaavachan' (brothers) and he performs humorously after his amusing character in 'Salt'n Pepper' and Sudesh berry, Rohini, Gouthami nair are good in their parts. Mostly the film casts are done by debut actors and their performance are liveliness.
Debut Srinath Rajendran has mould this film in a new style through a different output and the direction is 100% superb and scripted by debutant Vinu Viswa Lal. As for the Story part, there is no different because it is outdated but screenplay and dialogues is a new experience for mallu viewers eg: the romantic track between hero and heroine, some humorous and striking dialogues and scenes and the narration etc. Cinematography done by debut Pappu has taken good and apt scapes and Editing done by Praveen.K.L & Sreekanth.N.B, they unify the sequences and shots interestingly. Other applaudable factors are Sound design and Music,BG done by Renganath Ravee and Rex Vijayan respectively. Renganath Ravee's Sound design helps the scenes and shots more creatively and Rex Vijayan done the Soundtrack and BG deserves a mention.
Overall, 'Second Show' is a new experience for Viewers and has hit the screens smashingly.
Grade: 'Second Show' is Innovative and Outstanding Experiment, a Merited entry for Malayalam Film Industry.
