Review - Padmasree Bharath Dr.Sarojkumar

Writter and Actor Sreenivasan reprises again his popular character 'Sarojkumar' in the new film 'Padmasree Bharat Dr.Sarojkumar', and the character was made in the Mega hit film 'Udayanaanu Tharam' in 2005. 'P B Dr.S' is not the sequel of  'Udayanaanu Tharam' and directed by debutant Sajin Raghavan and the film were released on 14 Jan 2012. But all huge expectations are extinguished and the Viewers response about this film is below Average. Along with Sreenivasan, Mamtha Mohandas, Vineeth sreenivasan, Fahad fazil etc. and Some main Characters from 'UT' is placed in this film.

'P B Dr.S' depicts the story of southern film industry's recent real facts which expressed in Satirical view from the title role 'Megastar Sarojkumar' whose tries in many ways to keep his stardom level. In this film all facts is a dig for superstars that recent newses including Income tax raid and Armed force grade and crisis of some film organization problems etc. reveals in this film.



'P B Dr.S' contains a shallow story which packed with the disagreeable sequences and most of its narration is over expressive comedy sequences throughout first and second half. 



Sreenivasan performs ad infinitum substandard comedy sequences but some scenes are appreciable. Even though Mamtha mohandas's role is an important one and it is presented as unsubstantiated. Actor suraj venjaraamoodu done a uninteresting comedy. Fahad fazil and Vineeth srinivasan are good in their parts. And some characters from the film 'Udayanaanu Tharam' played by Mukesh, Jagathy Sreekumar and Salimkumar are performing good in this film.



Director Sajin Raghavan's debut venture and he just follows the script and directs simply this film. In Cameraman S.Kumar's film career there is nothing special from his creativity in this film and he took ordinary shots. And Editor V.Saajan trimmed the scenes normally. Background score is unfit and schlock done by Bijipal. Music director Deepak dev composed some nice soundtrack for this film.


Overall, Comparing to  'Udayanaanu Tharam',  'Padmasree Bharat Dr.Sarojkumar' contains worst screenplay and diabolical satire film.


Grade: To my surprise, Satire has also a Cruel face!
