Vellaripravinte Changathi ‘s story were based on the Film maker who named Augustine Joseph. He made a Malayalam movie in 1966 but the movie did not come to theatres due to various reasons. Augustine Joseph’s son took initiative and released this film. In that film Dileep recalls his Character as Evergreen Hero ‘Prem Nazir’ , Kavya Madhavan recalls her role as actress Sheela and Manoj.K.Jayan as Veteran Actor ‘Sathyan’. The film produced by Arun Ghosh and Bijoy Chandran under the banner of 'Chandvi Creations’
After a gap of 7 years Director Akku Akbar teaming up with Dileep in this film and 'super hit Jodi 'Dileep & Kavya Madhavan' again coming up together. The movie cinematographed by Vipin Mohan and Sameer Haq. The sound track is composed by Mohan sithara and lyrics penned by Vayalar Sharatchandra Varma.
The movie named earlier ‘Ithano Valiya Kaaryam’ and later changed to ‘Vellaripravinte Changathi’.
