TheKing & The Commissioner is forthcoming Malayalam Political Crime Thriller film, Directed by Shaji Kailas which is scripted by Renji Panicker. It is combined of two superstars Mammootty & Sureshgopi,are acting as ‘The King’ and ‘The Commissioner’ respectively, and it is sequel of these two main Characters portrays in a new Background and new Story. Shaji Kailas and Renji panicker teaming up together after their previous two Mega Hit films ‘ The King’ and ‘The Commissioner’. In these two film’s Bomblastic Characters Joseph Alex IAS(Mammmooty) and BharathChandran IPS(SureshGopi) are coming up together in One Movie ‘TheKIng & The Commissioner’. Sanjana, Samvrutha Sunil, Nedumudi Venu , Vijayaraghavan, Devan, Saikumar etc. are main Characters performing in this film. The movie will be Released on Feb.2012.

Director Shaji Kailas and Script Writer Renji Panicker are coming back after a gap of 16 years. Their last film is ‘The King’ which release on 1995. All The recent released films done by Shaji Kailas were continuously Failure. So he decided to co-operate with Renji Panicker and to Direct an excellent film and the result is TheKing & The Commissioner.
The story follows a Murder of a Scientist and it is situated in New delhi,where Joseph Alex IAS and BharathChandran IPS working in their respective positions. Overcoming so many obstacles they co-operatively investigate this murder case and reveal the culprits. The movie was mostly shot at two Metro cities Kochi and Delhi.
The heroine role of this film plays actress Sanjana. Earlier the role casted to actress Reema Sen due to certain problems and later Sanjana was selected and signed this project.
The film produced by Anto joseph under the banner of Emperor Cinema and distributed by PlayHouse.
