There is nothing new techniques in 'Polytechnic'. So the film don't reach our expectations. It is directed by M.Padmakumar and the script is done by Nishad Koya. Kunchako Boban is handling the title character 'Pauly' in this film which released on 12/04/2014 and the opinions are mixed.

Movie outlook
- The story is foretold in many old movies that we have watched many times . It has a few humorous situations.
- The film lagging at most parts. it turns & treatment are old fashioned. If avoid some unwanted parts It could be good.
Acting
- Kunchako Boban neatly handled his character 'Pauly'.
- Bhavana as a cop role 'Aswathy' looks pretty but nothing offers new in her performance.
- Vijayaraghavan, Aju Varghese and Niyas Bakar make notable performances.
Technicalities
- Direction of M.Padmakumar, isn't going well.
- Nishad Koya penned an old aged script.
- Pramod.K.Pillai's visuals are good.
- The peppy song number "appakalle...mazhappate..." is good by the musical of Gopi Sundar. But BG scores, nothing special.
