' Polytechnic ' - Only Used Technics

There is nothing new techniques in 'Polytechnic'. So the film don't reach our expectations. It is directed by M.Padmakumar and the script is done by Nishad Koya. Kunchako Boban is handling the title character 'Pauly' in this film which released on 12/04/2014 and the opinions are mixed.

Pauly's father dies in a terrorist attack and his family gets a compensation from the government. With that amount Pauly starts an agricultural business

Movie outlook
  • The story is foretold in many old movies that we have watched many times . It has a few humorous situations.
  • The film lagging at most parts. it turns & treatment are old fashioned. If avoid some unwanted parts It could be good.

Acting
  • Kunchako Boban neatly handled his character 'Pauly'.
  • Bhavana as a cop role 'Aswathy' looks pretty but nothing offers new in her performance.
  • Vijayaraghavan, Aju Varghese and Niyas Bakar make notable performances.

Technicalities
  • Direction of M.Padmakumar, isn't going well.
  • Nishad Koya penned an old aged script.
  • Pramod.K.Pillai's visuals are good.
  • The peppy song number "appakalle...mazhappate..." is good by the musical of Gopi Sundar. But BG scores, nothing special.

' Ringmaster ' - Comic Entertainer

Ringmaster is our 'Janapriya Nayagan' Dileep's another minimum guaranteed movie which is the best option for entertainment in this festive-vacation. Rafi directed the movie and it has the stars Vijayaraghavan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kalabhavan Shajon, Guinness Pakru, Ranjini, Honey Rose, Keerthy Suresh etc. along with Dileep. Elizabeth has a condition that her most loved dog 'Diana' should not conceive. But unfortunately she was conceived by the neighbouring dog 'Toby' which is guide dog of a blind girl Karthika (Keerthi Suresh). See what happens in the rest.

Movie outlook
  • The storyline is just usual one and it fills with a lot of fun & humours.
  • The first and second halves goes with the same pace. Even at main parts is also predictable.

Acting
  • Its a 'Dileep show'. No doubt!. He entertaining the viewers with his jokes and styles.
  • Moreover, the Dogs Diana, Toby, Lisa and others are also make you happy.
  • Actress Keerthi Suresh is performed good as a blind girl 'Karthika'. And Honey rose is also fully justified to her role a 'egoistic actress' as 'Diana'.
  • Vijayaraghavan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kalabhavan Shajon, Guinness Pakru; their humours worked out well.

Technicalities
  • Rafi flawlessly made his job. But isn't so special. He also acted as a 'director' role in the film. He just did  well.
  • Shaji captured apt visuals. Syam Sashidharan's edit just follows the script. The CG works are good.

' Gangster ' - Review

"I m gonna make him an offer he can't refuse", the famous dialogue of the classic film 'Godfather', again happened in the movie 'Gangster'. Pls alter it Aashiq Abu. " We refuse this type of offers, Mr.Director "

All build-ups are shattered! Gangster is neither reaches our highest expectations nor entertaining. It is from the director Aashiq Abu and our Megastar Mammootty. The movie is released yesterday 11/04/2014 and the responses are negative.

Story
Akbar Ali Khan (Mammootty) is one of the gangsters in Mangalore and he controlls port deals. Akbar deals his businesses with his partners Mani (Kunchan) and Uncle Sam (John Paul). But Akbar opposes it. This makes Anto enmity to Akbar and he tries to destroy him. Due to this problems, Akbar takes revenge upon Anto.

Movie outlook
  • The movie lost the gripping within few moments after the starting and then it doesn't engaging until the end.
  • The pace is lagging throughout.
  • The climax is well attempted (specially the animated graphic scenes) but it is overshadowed by certain falls.

Acting
  • Mammootty has to do nothing in the role 'Akbar Ali Khan' other than to express his looks and styles. (the director didn't utilise our Megastar's talent)
  • Shekhar Menon is totally unfit for the 'villain' role and his performance makes funny.
  • Others are OK.

Technicalities
  • Aashiq Abu's treatment is utterly poor.
  • Alby's visuals are apt. The lighting and tones are well for scenes.
  • Deepak dev's BG scores are sync with the sequences.

  • The first half is impressive and well balanced with good feelings the second half is wrapped up with some tensions (out of our predictions) and it ended well. The climax could have been shrinkable.

'Onnum Mindathe', really misses the perfect structural storyline, so the entertainment couldn't be better for you. It is directed by Sugeeth and starring Jayaram, Meera Jasmine, Manoj.K.Jayan, Lalu Alex etc. The film is released on 29/03/2014 and garnered negative opinions.

Movie outlook

  • The story goes with usual family stuffs and in Some parts it resembles  'Aksharathettu' (1989) and the recent film of actor Jayaram 'Bharya Athra Poraa', the situations likely happens in the same tracks.
  • Though the first and second halves are in the same pace, it couldn't  interest you.

Acting

  • Jayaram handling the role 'Sachi' with his usual shades.
  • Nothing impressive sides in the performance of Meera Jasmine as the role 'Shyama'.
