'Happy Journey' - disappointed

'Happy Journey' is superfluously mixed a lot of sentiments and turns, which make a boring Journey. It is directed by Boban Samuel and featuring the main roles by Jayasurya, Lal, Lalu Alex, Balu etc. It released 21/02/2014 and the opinions are mixed.

Story
Since childhood, Aaron (Jayasurya) is a hardcore cricket fan. His mother Alice knows about his passion to cricket, she encouraged him to play. But unfortunately, following a road accident, he lost his eye sight. Alice tries to get him a chance in Blind cricket team. The sudden demise of his mother, Aaron becomes an orphan and gives up his desires. After a certain period, The Indian blind cricket team becomes active and a coach named Gopikrishnan (Lal), a struggling man, appointed as coach of that team. Aaron gets selection in the team and he becomes intimate with Gopikrishnan. Will Aaron's desires become truth....?.

Movie outlook
  • The story happens in an adrift route and the sequences make a feel beyond tolerance.
  • Neither it's a feel-good experience nor a sentimental drama.
  • The movie is outstretched and drag with plot less twists, unwanted factors.Climax is fall flat.
Acting
  • Jayasurya's acting as a blind man, he neglected the genuinity of the 'challenging role' and dealt in his usual patterns .
  • Lal as 'Gopikrishnan', did an excellent job.
  • The childhood role of Nideesh Boban, he does brilliantly in his parts.
  • The other actors are just OK.
Technicalities
  • Director Boban Samuel just follows the screenplay with required technical supports. Nothing remarks by him.
  • Arunlal's script is the registered drawback. He bulges more it with spotless things.
  • Mahesh raj's shots are good.
  • Gopi Sundar's BG scores and tunes, its a saving grace.
Grade:    Gloomy Journey
Rating:   2 / 5
