'Mannar Mathai Speaking 2' - A dead sequel

'Mannar Mathai Speaking 2' is the third part of the film 'Ramji Rao Speaking', but why the part is named as '2'?. In my opinion, this is 3. Anyway, this sequel is directed badly by Mamas, who taken the direction rights from the director duo Sidique Lal, they did the script & direction of prequels that became as evergreen comedy thrillers. But the third instalment is shattering our expectations.

Story
Mannar Mathai (Innocent), the troupe owner of 'Urvashi Theatres'. Due to certain problems, Mannar Mathai and his companions Gopalakrishnan (Mukesh) and Balakrishnan (Saikumar) changed over their 'Urvashi Theatres' to 'Urvashi Tours & Travels'. Yet Mathai doesn't loose his passion of Drama and he prepares a drama to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his theatre. For their tours & travels, they require a driver who speaks English language fluently. Meanwhile Mathai wants an actress for his new drama. As a new driver enters named Unni (Basil) and Nithya (Aparna), as actress. While everything is going well, they met their old enemy Mahendra Varma (Biju Menon) and again their life become complicated.

Movie outlook
  • A mixed script of its prequels. But have nothing interesting factors.
  • The sequences makes a feel that  it's an adjusting movie with flat jokes .

Acting
  • Only this is just a mixing of the appraised characters 'Mathai chettan', 'Gopalakrishnan', 'Balakrishnan', 'Ramji Rao', 'Mahendravarma':- they have nothing funny stuffs and also the newly added characters have nothing to do.

Technicalities
  • Director Mamas forgot the seriousness of the subject and he made a boring sequel.
  • The main technical sides:- Camera, Editing are run-off-the-mill.
  • Rahul Raj's musical scores are just OK.

Grade:    Uninteresting

'Happy Journey' - disappointed

'Happy Journey' is superfluously mixed a lot of sentiments and turns, which make a boring Journey. It is directed by Boban Samuel and featuring the main roles by Jayasurya, Lal, Lalu Alex, Balu etc. It released 21/02/2014 and the opinions are mixed.

Aaron gets selection in the team and he becomes intimate with Gopikrishnan. Will Aaron's desires become truth....?.

Movie outlook
  • The story happens in an adrift route and the sequences make a feel beyond tolerance.
  • Neither it's a feel-good experience nor a sentimental drama.
  • The movie is outstretched and drag with plot less twists, unwanted factors.Climax is fall flat.
Acting
  • Jayasurya's acting as a blind man, he neglected the genuinity of the 'challenging role' and dealt in his usual patterns .
  • Lal as 'Gopikrishnan', did an excellent job.
  • The childhood role of Nideesh Boban, he does brilliantly in his parts.
  • The other actors are just OK.
Technicalities
  • Director Boban Samuel just follows the screenplay with required technical supports. Nothing remarks by him.
  • Arunlal's script is the registered drawback. He bulges more it with spotless things.
  • Mahesh raj's shots are good.
  • Gopi Sundar's BG scores and tunes, its a saving grace.

'Pakida' - The Game is Serious

Although 'Pakida' has just a little bit of flaws, it offers a neat entertainment and feels as a good game. It is released 14 February 2014 and garnered mixed opinions. Sunil Karyattukara directed this movie which has featuring the lead roles by Asif Ali, Biju Menon, Aju Varghese, Vishnu Raghav, Malavika etc.

George agrees to buy the car according to certain conditions; Aadhi should accompany him up to Madurai and obey his major plans. what is the plans of George and why he picks Aadhi to the Journey....?

Movie outlook
  • It has good storyline and keeps the required paces in first and Second half.
  • Some minuses:- Climax is in our predictions. So it makes an ordinary feel. What a ridiculous Slow BG scores for a fast-paced thriller !

Acting
  • Asif Ali is neatly handled the role 'Aadhi' while he keeps his usual performance.
  • For the Key role 'George Koshy Anthroper', Biju menon made it as an impressive one.
  • Others are fully justified to their characters.

Technicalities
  • The film is second venture of the director Sunil Karyattukara. He improved more and changed his style from the first movie 'Chacko Randaman' which was a flop.
  • Sameer Haq captured the good & apt visuals. (The dark shades of Madurai city, the night scenes etc. are best).

'Salaam Kashmir' - Review

'Salaam Kashmir' is a poor movie and don't expect any mastery touches from the director Joshiy. It has the multi star cast, starring Suresh Gopi and Jayaram are the main heroes. Miya, Lalu Alex, Krishna Kumar, etc. are performing the other characters. It released 13/02/2014 and the responses are negative.

Story

Sreekumar is irritated by the entering of Tommy in their family life and the things become more complicated. Roy (Lalu Alex), a friend of Sreekumar helps him to overcome the difficulties and One day Roy knows from Tommy that Sreekumar is a Military Officer of Cyber wing in Kashmir. Why Sreekumar leads such a peculiar life and how the things become fine..... ?

Movie Outlook
  • The story is 'difficult to digest' because a plenty of mistakes have included in it.
  • Neither it has a full supply of heroism of Our Stars nor satisfying stuffs in the sequences.
  • I feel, It makes another mocking experience about 'Military' wing after the Malayalam movie 'War & Love' (2003), directed by Vinayan. (throughout Second half)

Acting
  • Jayaram is in his usual acts and gestures  (he is overdoing)
  • Sureshgopi's role is just 'comes and goes' in scenes of first half and he has to perform in the Second half.  Nothing impressive sides of the role. Just performed at his best.
  • Actress Miya is justified to her role.
  • Others are Just ok.

Technicalities
  • Our Master Film maker Joshiy's direction is a huge let down. He couldn't use his excellence.
  • Sethu's Script is bad thoroughly.
  • Manoj Pillai's cinematography is average.

'Salala Mobiles' - lacks the charm and liveliness

Nothing enjoyable features / applications in Sarath.A.Haridasan's 'Salala Mobiles'. It lacks the perfect methods and plans, in all manners. Dulqar Salman and Nazriya Nazim are handling the main actors along with other roles by Jacob Gregory, Santhanam,Sidique, Geetha etc. It released recently and opinions are mostly negative.

The things become more complicated and the people realise the secrets of Call tapping and complain to the Police. See what happens later .....?

Movie outlook

  • Nothing valuable factors have included in the story and the motif is too short. More minuses have affected in the 'totality'.
  • The sequences are probably predictable and unimpressive even at main parts. (if it has a new pattern in scripting, it could be like to all).

Acting
  • In the Character 'Afsal', Dulqar Salman having the same shades from his previous movies.
  • Others have nothing notable performances. They just OK.

Technicalities

  • Unfortunately there have a lot of drawbacks in scripting and direction, did by Sarath.A.Haridasan.
  • Sathish Kurup's Cinematography isn't notable.
  • Only the appreciable side of 'Salala Mobiles' is Gopi Sundar's engaging tunes.

Veeram is completely entertaining and a 'Paisa Vasool' movie. The film is packed with the heroism of 'Thala' Ajith ultimately. Siva is directed this film which has other leading actors are Tammana, Santhanam, Nassar, Atul kulkkarni etc. It opinions are good.

Story

Gopuramdevi's family have a violent past and Vinayagam enters in her life and solves the problems with his brothers.

Movie outlook
  • Veeram is a family entertainer, even though the story goes with slow-paced moments at parts, that treated as perfect mass movie. It resembles the Telugu movie 'Mirchi' at parts. (In heroine's family moments and turns)
  • The sequences have energetic & engaging factors and app laudable powerful dialogues. It prominently oriented the heroism of 'Ajith'.
  • The first and second half have correctly maintained the required pace

Acting
  • Ajith totally awesome in 'Veeram'. His 'acting, fights & look' is at high voltage.

London Bridge is quietly romantic but it hasn't including interesting things. The movie is directed by Anil.C.Menon and the protagonist role is handled by young icon Prithviraj. It is released on 01 February 2014 and the opinions are mixed.

Vijay takes her into the Hospital and further circumstances have made Vijay to fall in deep love with Merin. Vijay's dual relationship with these two ladies becomes complicated. Will he choose to share his life with whom ? Pavithra or Merin.

Movie outlook
  • About the story, simply goes on with usual romantic stuffs. But nothing offers any specials.
  • The dialogues; feels like genuine. Its a positive mark.
  • Climax could have been better.

Acting
  • Prithviraj's look is good and apt for his role as an young entrepreneur. He is just performed with his usual shades.
  • The heroines; Andrea gave an adequate approach in her role. The debutante Nanditha is cute in her role as 'Merin' but she could have trained better.
  • Other actors, Mukesh, Prathap Pothen, Lena, Sunil Sugadha etc. are apt in the cast.

Technicality
  • Relating to his previous films, Anil.C.Menon's making is different. However it offers nothing special.
  • Jinu Abraham's script lacks variety and its an repetitive triangular love story.
  • Jithu Damodar captured the colourful visuals of London City.
  • Impressive music scores by Rahul Raj and Sreevalsan Menon.
