'Ezhamathe Varavu' - Review

Undoubtedly, 'Ezhamathe Varavu' is an 'M.T - Hariharan' teamwork on the basis of creative technical experiment.  The film is remade by the team 'Evideyo Oru Shatru' which couldn't complete due to certain problems  and it was starred by Sukumaran and Venu Nagavalli. In the latest, Indrajith (S/O late actor Sukumaran) and Vineeth reprising that characters. 'EV' released on 15/09/2013 and my opinion is just an above - average film.

Story
Prasad (Vineeth) is an archaeologist who comes to research in a dense forest and his accommodation arranged in a bungalow owned by Gopinathan (Indrajith). Gopinathan is a villain with verve and his hobby is hunting. Bhanu (Bhavana) is the wife of Gopinathan  and she was a college mate and lover of Prasad.  The inhabitants of forest meets a dangerous situation that a wild Tiger attacking only human beings. How the happenings in the rest. Watch it.

Movie Outlook
  • The movie goes on Well as well as Lagging sequences at parts. As naturalistic, it created some thrilling and beauteous situations. (the Forest and the Tiger included scenes)
  • First half is interesting at times and the Second half is predictable and much lagging.
  • The Climax presented well and the 'End' carrying with a 'superb' shot.

Acting
  • Indrajith has done well dedicated to his role 'Gopinathan'. The film will create a 'Milestone' in his career. Damn sure. (The Climax is carrying in his excellence)
  • Vineeth again proved his acting calibre.
  • Bhavana  just tried out her maximum efforts.
  • Actress Kavitha is good. Her 'eyes' like Actress Parvathy, will bear in your mind.
  • Others are done good jobs.

Technicality
  • As a directorial venture, 'EV' is Hariharan's usual pattern like 'Aaranyakam' and some other movies of him. Technically, he showed a 'mastery' (well added good Shots, Bg scores and Sound Design). Hariharan did a new job as a Lyricist & Music Director, the songs have the touch of the Music director Bombay Ravi
  • M.T's script is an Old-hat.
  • S.Kumar created a 'Cinematographical' Magic.
  • Deepak Dev's Bg score is tried out to an active mood.
  • Tapas Nayak's sound design & Cg works, appreciable.
