'VADHYAAR' - Review

In 2012- After the disastrous film 'Kunjaliyan', actor Jayasurya's new film 'Vadhyaar' was released 08/06/2012. The film directed by debutant Nideesh Shakthi, starring Vijayaraghavan, Menaka in the lead while Jayasurya takes up the protagonist role as a 'Teacher'. 'Vadhyaar' scripted by Rajesh Raghavan and the film were received negative responses and reviews from release in playhouses.

Story
Anoop Krishnan (Jayasurya) is an easy go lucky man whose ambition be a MBA holder to earn a big salary. But the familial circumstances forces him to take the job as a 'Teacher' under the Saraswathi Vilasom School at the remote village Kottapurram. But he doesn't work properly in the school and his attitude displeased by the Management including 'Head Mistress' Subhadra (Menaka) and Gangadhara Kurup (Vijayaraghavan). Will a change happens in Anoop Krishnan's life by the School's difficult surroundings?

'Vadhyaar'- Story is predictable and outdated manner, First and Second Half wrapped by unsettle and listless sequences which are improper according to the narration. And the film's anticlimax and climax are plan less.

Jayasurya is just in his usual performance in his role as 'Anoop Krishnan' though his appearance is good and the other lead roles are done by Vijayaraghavan, Menaka etc. are not quotable. The film Drawbacks in performance that the castings include Harisree Ashokan, Salim Kumar, Ann augustine etc. used for dummy roles.

The film from debut director Nideesh Shakthi, certainly fails his creativity because he didn't mentioned the intention that 'what message should be expressed' through this film and the making style is tiresome. Unfortunately, outright of the film's technicalities are unimpressive. Rajesh Raghavan's script delivers it slapdash way and the movie's story and some of the sequences are almost the resemblance of the Malayalam film 'Manikyakallu'. The cinematography handled by Pradeep nair and his shots are banal and unseemly and Ranjan Abraham's Editing is improper. The Original scores and Soundtracks are unlovely, composed by R.Goutham and the sequences were dips in inapt Bg scores. Specially, the Remix song from the Tamil Film 'Munthanai Mudichu' song 'Va.. Va..Vadhyaare' undeservedly used in this film.
Totally, 'Vadhyaar' has more negative features.

Grade:  This 'Vadhyaar' is misshapen and plan less.
Rating:  1.5/5
