Actor Jayaram appears as a 'Wizard' role in a new Malayalam film titled 'Manthrikan'- a Horror genre flick reconcile with Humour, directed by Anil in Rajan Kiriyath's Script. Poonam Bajwa, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kottayam Nazeer, Kalabhavan Shajon, Riyas Khan etc. will perform the crucial roles with Jayaram. Anandkumar has produced this film, under the banner of him 'Yes Cinema Company'.

Director Anil, one of the twin directors known as Anil- Babu, they have contributed umpteen films to Malayalam. This is one of the film which Anil directed independently and he has done a lot of films in Rajan Kiriyath's script. Jayaram is a regular star most of his films and their previous film 'Paarthan Kanda Paralokam' did not create an impact in Box Office. Poonam Bajwa as Heroine in 'Manthrikan' and it is the 4th film in Mollywood and secondly pair with Jayaram after the Blockbuster Hit 'Chinatown'. Through this film, Natasha, Sukanya, Linta thomas, Swapna Menon - four starlets performs the vital roles. Anandkumar produced this film, his first film is 'Beautiful' considered as one of the Superhits in 2011.
