NAMMUKKU PARKAAN - Review

Remembering old time Family Hit Films and its distinctive titles, the film 'Nammukku Parkaan' released recently without any hue&cry. It is directed by Aji John and Screenplay by the debut team Jayan-Sunoj. It gained as an 'Average' position due to the mixed responses from viewers.

Story
Rajeevan (Anoop Menon), a veterinary surgeon and a simple family man who having wife Renuka (Meghna Raj) and two daughters. His ambition is to own an ideal house, but he has no ample source of income which leads him for bribery. It is the main plot.

Nammukku Parkaan having an intended Story, First and Second halves including emotive and overstating situations. Most predictable Sequences which leading into a usual Climax. The film's good speciality is its 'tailpiece' has nice backing that a happy ending dialogue from actor Mohanlal's vocal appearance.

There is nothing Special performances in the film from castings include Anoop Menon, Meghna Raj, Tini Tom, Ashokan etc. Yet Actor Nandhu acquires a mild role, it is excellent. Jayasurya done a passing cameo role as a police officer, is inactive.

Director Aji John improves his directorial ability and he delicately handles each sequences. But the film lacks of an accomplished Screenplay by Jayan-Sunoj, because both sequences and characters are habitual. And the film spill over in exaggerated emotional scenes and dialogues. In technicalities - S.B.Prijith's Visuals and Editing of Samjith MHD is congruent factors and Ratheesh Vega's musical compositions remaining without essential changes. Specially, the Song ''Kanmani Ninne njan...'' likeness to the Song ''Melle melle mukhapadam...'' from the Movie 'Oru Minnaminnuginte Nurrunguvattam' (music by Johnson).
Albeit the title - 'Nammuku Parkaan' is an impressive but it doesn't keep an exceptional one because it leads in a predictable manner.

Grade:  'Nammuku Parkaan' is Simple & Average
Rating:  2.15/5

CINEMA COMPANY - Review

'When a person really desires something, all the Universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream'- one of the famous quotes by Santiago in 'The Alchemist'. Representing these quotes and building a plot through a 'Friendship' film which titled  'Cinema Company'. The film having fresh faces which featuring the main roles and Scripted & directed by Mamas. 'Cinema Company' opened on 27/07/2012 and received mostly Negative responses.

Story
The film tells about the 4 friends relationship of Paul, Parvathy, Varghese Panicker & Fasal ( the gang known as Cinema Company). Their aspirations & dreams to realize a 'Film' and how it will Succeed?

'Cinema Company' - misses the good story. Implying to the 'title', Sequences and dialogues are apt but it were dipping in schmaltz and the film has typical scenes which specially introducing the main character's life and their friendship. Its plot is inconsistent to the story.

Passable performances have given from the debut Castings include Bansil, Sanjeev, Badri, Sruthi are done the lead roles. Although Krishna, Lalu Alex, Kottayam Nazeer etc. are handling the mild roles, they have identity in their parts. Baburaj done a cameo role which seems like his usual performances from his previous films, but its just a passing.

According to the reliable Sources, Director Mamas embarked on this film's paper works before his first movie 'Paapi Appacha'. So When it holds the expectations before release because it will become to the 'Good-Youthful entertainer'. But the viewers didn't Satisfy thoroughly because it is an ordinary film which has usual friendship factors. The Script has affected by some slip-ups, especially it includes joyless comedy, unreliable twists etc. Good backing have including for Cinema Company's technicalities- Jibu Jacob captures the colourful visuals, Sreekumar Nair's editing, title designing and promotion works etc. Alphonse Joseph composed the graceful BG Scores & Musics for this film. Specially, its theme music and end credits with named 'Thick Rap'
Altogether, besides debut faces handling the lead roles, 'Cinema Company' has nothing special in Story.

Grade:   Cinema Company's products is weak.
Rating:   2/5

BILLA 2 - Review

''Don Don..Donukellam Don intha 'BILLA' than'' (Don 'Billa' is superior than all other Dons)- this is an iconic lines in the theme song 'Gangster' from the film 'Billa 2'. Annotating these lines, the film 'Billa 2' released worldwide. The film from the director Chakri Toleti and produced by IN Entertainments with Wide Angle Creations. 'Billa 2' hits the screens 13/07/2012 and it gained mixed responses from the viewers.

Story
The story focus on an ordinary man David Billa (Ajith) who how enters in crime world with his trusted friend Ranjith (Yog japee) and how he becomes an underworld don.

Billa 2, consisting the prequel life of Billa to the film 'Billa (2007)' and the title including the tag line that 'Every Man Has a Past, Every Don, A History'. Considering these, the film keeps not only a Story but also picturizing a certain conditions and events of a Don's life in First and Second Halves.

Ajith again reprising the title character 'Billa' and winning in each sequences of his with high spirited actions. Especially Billa's voguish appearance would make a whopping profit to this film. In screening, always the viewers' eyes are on the 'Ultimate Star' Ajith and it becoming as a 'One-man show'. Other Characters done by Sudhanshu pandey,Vidyut jamwal, Manoj.K.Jayan etc.does offers good performances. Yog Japee as Billa's Friend Ranjith, has given a nice performance and Vidyut as the main 'Villain' role and he showed his martial arts skills in his 'introduction' which is app laudable. Actresses Brunna Abdullah and Parvathy omanakuttan were added for 'Spicy' roles although passable.

'Billa 2', Chakri Toleti's Second directorial Venture, after the film 'Unnaippol Oruvan' which is Tamil Version of Bollywood 'A Wednesday'. All sequences and shots,he packed very stylishly and carefully but unfortunately its all in the deficient Script which doesn't consist a purpose. In writing section, some good dialogues although Story & Screenplay doesn't be deserving. 'Billa 2' s all technicalities are Superb and A-one!, Cinematography by R.D.Rajashekhar, Editing- Suresh Urs, Music of Yuvan Shankar Raja etc. and the Visual Effects and others strikingly attractive. Och, the song 'Unnakulle Mirugam' is surprising
Altogether, 'Billa 2' has frail scripting manner but it goes on the way by 'Showman' Ajith and admirable technical specialities.

Grade:  'Billa 2' is an Average
Rating:  2.80/5

EEGA - Review

It is the First time A 'FLY' Character appearing as a title-role in a Flick and contributes a 'Special Entertainer'

Undoubtedly, the film from one of the First-rate Directors in Tollywood S.S.Rajamouli and it will revive a new trend. Eega released today (06/07/2012) in the Same time in Tamil and Malayalam and it garnered mostly Positive & Smashing opinions. Starring  Sudeep, Nani and Samantha in the lead roles and produced by Sai Korrapatti under the banner Varaahi Chalana Chitram.

Story
Nani (Nani) and Bindhu (Samantha) fall in love each other and a businessman named Sudeep (Sudeep) enters in their life. Sudeep, a man who has the character of to make everything his own and he killed Nani to get Bindhu as his own. Later, Nani's soul reincarnated as a 'FLY' to take revenge upon Sudeep.

'EEGA'  has an Usual revenge Story but it treat in a Specified manner. The First and Second halves have entertainment factors like romance+revenge+visual effects. Especially More Sequences and Shots are Clap achievable.

EEGA' revolves around in Three main characters done by Sudeep, Nani & Samantha and these castings are one of the good characteristics of this film. Sudeep's Character as the same name, hold the attention of viewers in this film and he captures by his app laudable performance. Specially his expressions are outstanding. Actor Nani does gratify by his dual roles including The 'FLY' character which keeps the pace and energy of this film. Besides, 'The Fly's actions are engaging and recollecting the original character of Nani in each scenes. Also Samantha has taken a fine job through her character 'Bindhu'. Sudeep and 'The Fly' are the Main Show mans of this film.

S.S.Rajamouli directs this film carefully and splendidly and most of the sequences are Strikingly attractive appearances. Specially EEGA's (The Fly) introduction, Interval, Climax Scene and End Credits are notable contents. No doubt EEGA would achieve one of the best films in his directorial career. More over, the treatment of the Script is amazing! written by Janardhan Maharshi and S.S. Rajamouli. And all technical Factors including Cinematography, Editing, BG Scores & Soundtracks, Visual Effects, Graphics etc. are making marks. K.K.Senthil Kumar's Chic Visuals, Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara rao, is stylish and the BG Scores & Theme Song of M.M.Keeravani have helped the strike a chord with the audience.
Sure that,  EEGA will break the previous records of Box-office.

Grade:  'EEGA' - EXTRAORDINARY ENTERTAINER

NO:66 MADHURA BUS - Review

Before releasing, the film 'No.66 Madhura Bus' declared many compliments in its staging and castings including Pasupathy, Magarand Desh Pande, Thilakan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Padmapriya, Swetha Menon, Mallika etc. but the film does shattered the viewers expectations because it received dissent opinions. The film Written and Directed by Nishad.M.A and produced by NFC Entertainments.

Story
Varadharajan (Pashupathy) and Suryapadmam (Padmapriya) meet accidentally together in a bus journey to Madhura and he unfolds the story and the intention of his journey to Suryapadmam. Varadhan's intention is to find out his adversary named Sanjayan (Magarand Deshpande) who ruined his entire family.

'No.66 Madhura Bus', a predictable story which in First and Second Halves sequences use over dramatic events and emotions. And the film goes on the usual Interval scene and Climax, it does keep out the energy level. It put to shame that the film's duration has extended in first half (1:30 hrs) while the second, lasting for a brief time (30 min.).

As aforementioned, 'No.66 Madhura Bus' has Highly skilled in castings, but all the stars don't offering worthy performances and they just try to do their satisfactory. The film's plot has much belong to the performances of Pashupathy, Magarand Deshpande and Mallika and Pashupathy's expressions & appearance aren't different from his recent Malayalam film 'Vairam'. Other roles by Swetha Menon, Thilakan, Padmapriya, Jagadeesh etc.have nothing to do this film.

Director Nishad utterly fails the creativity because the film's plot seriousness lacks by his frivolous making and K.V Anil's script reminding the film is the mixture of Bharathan's Classic 'Thazhvaram', Biju Varkey's 'Orange' and recent Tamil film 'Engeyum Epodhum'. The dialogues have too much exaggerations and the Sequences are stereotypical. Technically, 'No.66 Madhura Bus' has nothing to bag the remarkable qualities except the film procures the help from adequate visuals by Pradeep Nair.
Overall, 'No.66 Madhura Bus' is Below-Average and Yawn, it doesn't keep race as a thriller genre.

Grade:   Journey in No.66 Madhura Bus is disappointing
Rating:  1.5/5
